Dupont Veterinary Clinic: Our Beginnings to Today

Old Dupont Veterinary Clinic

From the very beginning, we started with a passion to be the best. Understanding the importance of pets in people’s lives, we wanted to be the place our clients could turn to knowing they could trust us to care for their pet just as if we were taking care of our own. By providing the best health care possible and by caring just as much for the people connected to those pets, we honor the human-animal bond.

Our Founding

Dupont Veterinary Clinic began modestly in August of 1999 with the purchase of Dupont Veterinary Hospital. The clinic was originally housed within the Dupont Animal Care Center on Dupont Road. Dupont Animal Care Center provided boarding and grooming services while Dupont Veterinary Clinic provided veterinary services.

Outgrew Space

With only two exam rooms and one 6-by-8 surgery room, we soon outgrew our space. The need to expand our current hospital was quickly apparent.

Expansion

Expanding Dupont Veterinary Clinic

In 2001 we expanded our facility to a 1500 square foot veterinary clinic. This space allowed us to better serve our clients and patients, while still upholding our high standards and mission.

Our Current Facility

Thanks to the support of our clients and the dedication of our team, we soon saw the need to grow once more. In November of 2006 we moved into our brand new facility on Coldwater Road.

New Dupont Veterinary Clinic

In an effort to keep our identity, and yet accurately reflect our location, we changed our name from Dupont Veterinary Clinic to Dupont Veterinary Clinic at Coldwater. Most people still know us as Dupont Veterinary Clinic.

Like any organization over the years, our team has grown and evolved. We’ve lost cherished team members, as lives have shifted and changed. But fortunately we have been successful in attracting talented, caring people. Some things have changed, one has not—our commitment to provide Compassionate Care for You and Your Pet.

"Exceptional care and compassion of all staff was a blessing."
