If you were not a Veterinarian, what would your other dream career be and why?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Elizabeth<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>Schaeffer<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Horticulture\/Landscaping because I like to garden and enjoy plants\/flowers and working outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jill Rietdorf<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 <\/em>Professional Organizer because I love to clean, declutter, and organize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gabby Maddox <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em> Owning an animal sanctuary or rescue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Valerie Tratnyek<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 <\/em>Artist because it feeds my creative side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Amy Boxberger<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Dentist or orthodontist because they have great hours and there is something very satisfying about cleaning and straightening teeth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rachel Riley <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em> Acrobat because I\u2019ve always said I would run away to the circus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was your first pet?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Elizabeth<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>Schaeffer<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> \u201cThistle\u201d a Brittany Spaniel <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jill Rietdorf<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> as a child it was \u201cBuffy\u201d a Lhasa apso.  As an adult it was \u201cZoey\u201d a kitty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gabby Maddox <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em>  a Norwegian Elkhound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Valerie Tratnyek<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> \u201cMisty\u201d a poodle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Amy Boxberger<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> I always had a family dog but the first pet of my own was a hamster named Ginger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Amy Boxberger<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Oooh, that is a tough one\u2026I honestly don\u2019t know if I have one favorite.  I have many favorites for different reasons!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rachel Riley <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em> Golden Retrievers<\/a> have a special place in my heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Amy Boxberger<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em>Is your bed comfy enough? (Answer: No, that\u2019s why I always sleep in yours!)

If you could travel anywhere to practice veterinary medicine, where would you go, and what species would it be with?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Elizabeth<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>Schaeffer<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Australia\/New Zealand \u2013 I would be happy to work with any species \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jill Rietdorf<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Somewhere tropical and warm \u2013 I would still work with cats and dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gabby Maddox <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em>  Alaska \u2013 I would work with wolves or penguins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Valerie Tratnyek<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Maui \u2013 I would still work with small animals, but with much<\/em> better views!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Amy Boxberger<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> Treating dogs in 3rd<\/sup> world countries, seeing them without basic medical care breaks my heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Rachel Riley <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em>The Land of Golden Retrievers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the funniest question an owner has asked you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Elizabeth<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>Schaeffer<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em>1. If I was pregnant (I was not) 2. If I was seeing anyone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jill Rietdorf<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em> There are no dumb questions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gabby Maddox <\/em><\/strong>\u2013<\/em> Don\u2019t have a funny question but a funny moment \u2013 An owner dancing in the room for their dog and I walked in and complimented them on their dance moves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Valerie Tratnyek<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/em>Can I leave my kids here and take the dog home? It would be much quieter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
