Special Pets Require Special Care

Appropriate nutrition, housing, and daily care are keys to keeping exotic pets and birds healthy, happy and disease-free. Many exotics and birds have very specific needs and their health can suffer if they’re not given the proper care. In many cases, pet owners simply don’t know how to provide correct care since the personnel at pet stores, where many exotic pets and birds are purchased, may lack this essential knowledge.

Our Special Veterinarian

Clinic veterinarian Dr. Amy Boxberger has a special interest in small mammal and avian veterinary medicine. She is experienced in treating a variety of birds and exotic pets. • Sexing (gender determination)

"I originally came to you because you deal with exotics. I actually live an hour away. But your service, facility, and staff has made me consider bringing all my animals to you and making Dupont Veterinary Clinic my Vet. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!"
