Dr. Steve Harry
Dr. Steve Harry is a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced in the Fort Wayne area since 1986 and has been the owner of Dupont Veterinary Clinic since 1999. He resides south of Fort Wayne with his wife and four children. In addition to his family he enjoys raising cattle, gardening, time at the lake, and most outdoor activities. Dr. Harry has a cat and an English Setter named Paisley.
Dr. Harry’s special interests include orthopedics and surgery. “I enjoy working with my hands and the challenge of orthopedic surgery. I also enjoy trying to provide the best pet care and service to our clients that I can. Our clients often become friends and the relationships we build make veterinary practice very rewarding. It’s also exciting to be able to lead a team of hospital staff that loves people and their pets and have a passion to be the best we can be.”
Dr. Jill Rietdorf
Dr. Jill Rietdorf is a 2003 graduate of Purdue University Veterinary School of Medicine. She has practiced with Dupont Veterinary Clinic since her graduation in May of 2003. She resides on the north side of Fort Wayne with her three sons, Aiden, Jonah and Graham, their Australian Shepher/Lab "Keiko" and three cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, cheering for her kids at ball games and reading.
Dr. Rietdorf’s special interests include endocrinology, dermatology, endoscopy and surgery. Dr. Rietdorf particularly enjoys small animal gastrointestinal endoscopy and has developed proficient skills over recent years . “My favorite aspect of this profession is the ability to not only bond with the animals, but also with their families.”
Dr. Elizabeth Schaeffer
Dr. Elizabeth Schaeffer has a BS degree in animal sciences and a DVM degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with Dupont Veterinary Clinic since 2005. Her special interests include internal medicine, surgery, behavior medicine, and oncology. In her spare time she enjoys all outdoor activities, hiking, barbecuing, flower gardening, and home remodeling projects. She also enjoys traveling and attending Komets games with her husband Ben. She and her husband have two young sons and a rescued Dachshund-Beagle mix named Tater.
Dr. Amy Boxberger
Dr. Amy Boxberger received her DVM degree in 2002 from Michigan State University following the completion of a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Boxberger joined Dupont Veterinary Clinic in 2008 and comes with a wide experience and knowledge base. Her special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Boxberger understands and values the strength of the human-animal bond. She extends her compassionate care to all critters that creep, crawl, and fly in addition to dogs and cats. Dr. Boxberger resides with her husband and two children.
Dr. Brennen Flory
Dr. Brennen Flory graduated from The Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. He is originally from Ohio and received his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Findlay. His special interests include surgery, orthopedics, and exotic pet medicine. He is also pursuing a certification in veterinary acupuncture. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out, various outdoor activities, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two pit bulls, Stella and Yogi. Dr. Flory has enjoyed the southern lifestyle, but is excited to be back in Indiana, closer to his friends and family. He enjoys working with a great team at Dupont Veterinary Clinic and appreciates building relationships with clients and their pets.
Dr. Valerie Tratnyek
Dr. Valerie Tratnyek is a Fort Wayne native who graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She returned to the area in 2000 and practiced on the southwest side of Fort Wayne until joining Dupont Veterinary Clinic in 2014. Her special interests include surgery and dermatology. She appreciates the challenge of treating complicated cases involving the skin and ears.
Dr. Tratnyek resides on the north side of Fort Wayne with her husband Dennis and her two sons, Thomas and Eric. They all love playing with their boxer-mix Gwendolyn. In her free time Dr. Tratnyek enjoys reading, working in the yard, and attending her sons’ many sporting events.
Dr. Gabby Pilla
Dr. Gabby Pilla graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She is originally from Pennsylvania where she received her bachelor's degree from York College. Her special interests include dermatology, internal medicine, nutrition and behavior medicine. She recently moved to Fort Wayne where she resides on the north side of Fort Wayne with her fiance Kyle. They have two dogs, a Pitbull named Bishop and a Dachshund/Beagle named Felix. During her free time Dr. Pilla enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking and attending sporting events. She is excited to call Fort Wayne her new home and to build relationships with her clients here.

We attempt to keep our veterinary technicians and assistants working beside the same veterinarian whenever possible, so that you get to know and work with the same team of people.
Emily joined Dupont Veterinary Clinic in 2007 as a Veterinary Assistant after graduating from the Veterinary Technician Program at International Business College. Emily is currently a staff trainer and a member of our management team. In addition to spending time with her fur babies: Buddy a nine-year old Puggle and Sam an eight-year old cat, she enjoys cooking, baking, watching sports, and anything outdoors that involves friends and family. Emily is very passionate about her job and has a great love for all animals. “The people here have become my family away from home”.
Dani joined the Dupont Veterinary Team in 2002. She has loved animals of all kinds since she was a little girl and currently has a Bulldog named Gertie and a Manx cat named Daisy. Dani is the Surgery Manager and cares for all of the surgical and hospitalized pets. Dani lives in Fort Wayne with her husband and three children. Dani enjoys making cakes, gardening, and spending time with her family. Dani is proud to be part of the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team and loves taking care of the pets as well as getting to know their owners.
Sara joined the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in 2007 as a Client Relations Specialist. Sara’s strong work ethic and dedication has earned her a spot on our management team as our Client Relations Specialist Manager and Inventory Manager. Sara loves the boxer breed and has three of her own: Marley, Laela, and Peyton. In her spare time Sara loves outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family. Sara and husband Taylor recently welcomed their first child and are excited for this new chapter in their lives.
Vicki came to work at Dupont Veterinary Clinic in April 2007 as a Client Relations Specialist and then began work as a Veterinary Assistant in 2008. In 2014 Vicki became our Technician and Scheduling Manager and in 2015 she was promoted to Office Manager. Vicki’s passion for animals not only shines through in her job, but also at home. Vicki has a beloved mutt named Duke and two frisky felines, Ryder and Elsa. Vicki and husband Scott have been blessed with two beautiful little girls, Addison and MacKenzie. The entire family loves spending time at the zoo or anything that allows them to get outdoors. Vicki is working towards completing her BA degree in business management during her limited spare time.
Client Care Specialists
Darlena joined the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in 2007 as a Client Relations Specialist. Darlena moved to our area from Charlotte, North Carolina and resides with her husband Chris, five Chihuahuas, and a Quaker parrot. Darlena has a Certification in Customer Service and over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. Darlena oversees our accounts receivables and collections. In her spare time Darlena enjoys sewing, embroidering, crafts, and spending time outdoors. Darlena excels in providing exceptional customer service and loves meeting new clients and their beloved pets.
Ben became a part of Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in January of 2017. He has been enlisted in the National Guard Infantry for 5 years. He enjoys being outdoors whether it be backpacking in the mountains or target shooting. He likes spiders (to each his own) except for Black Widows. His favorite dog breed is the Doberman. Ben currently has a 15 year-old Cocker/Poodle mix named Buddy.
Haley joined the Dupont team in March 2017 as a client care specialist. Haley enjoys spending time with her fur babies - Paisley her fun loving boxer mix, and Max and Mya, her 2 friendly felines . She also enjoys her free time with her family and fiancé Ian. They like to try new restaurants and go shopping. Haley loves to stay healthy and fit and makes it a priority to wake up early every day to hit the gym.
Jenna joined the DVC team in 2016 shortly after moving to Fort Wayne from Ohio. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2010 with a specialty in client relations. Animals have always been a significant part of her life and she has cared for a multitude of them from fish to horses. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, spending time with friends and spoiling her two cats, Butch and Cassidy.
Libby joined the Dupont team August of 2017. She and her husband Dustin have a whippet named Spectre, who loves to cuddle and do silly things that make them laugh daily. Libby used to live in the country, and hopes to one daily live on a small farm again. She and her husband love the outdoors and enjoy hammocking along with their pup.
Hannah joined the Dupont team in July 2017 as a client care specialist. She is originally from Stryker, Ohio but recently moved to Ft. Wayne from Nashville, TN. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Ben, friends and family. She also spends free time kickboxing, lifting, hiking and reading. She has 1 cat named Kitty Purry.
Veterinary Technicians and Assistants
Sarah joined the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in November 2009 after completing her externship. Sarah is a 2009 graduate of International Business College Vet Tech Institute with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. In 2010, she passed her national board examination to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Sarah has three pets at home: Cletus a one-year old black Lab and two Dutch rabbits. Sarah cares for all species of pets, but especially enjoys the challenge of exotic animal medicine.
Shelby began working for Dupont Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 2014 as a Veterinary Assistant. Shelby graduated with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from International Business College in 2014. Shelby has an English Bulldog named Wally and a guinea pig named Ziggy the Piggy. In her spare time she loves spending time with her boyfriend Anthony, family, and friends.
Stephanie joined the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in September of 2011 as a Veterinary Assistant. Stephanie is a 2009 graduate of International Business College Vet Tech Institute with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. In addition, Stephanie completed an eight-week externship program at Aboite Animal Clinic and volunteered for several months at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary where she spent most of her time caring for the tigers and large cats. In 2011, she passed her national board examination.
Stephanie is originally from Fort Wayne, but spent several years living in Hawaii where she adopted both of her cats. Stephanie is married with one child and three pets: Mr. Miyagi a 12-year old bearded dragon, Layla a 10-year old domestic shorthair, and Spaz a 10-year old domestic shorthair who lives up to his name.
Stephanie loves all aspects of her job, but especially is interested in the challenge of exotic animal medicine and veterinary dentistry.
Cortney joined Dupont Veterinary Clinic in April 2016 as a veterinary assistant. Cortney is a 2016 graduate of International Business College Vet Tech Institute with an Associates degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Cortney enjoys singing, sports, and outdoor activities with her family and friends and fur baby, Tucker.
Sarah became a Dupont Veterinary Clinic team member in 2007 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Sarah graduated with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from International Business College in 2007. Sarah assists with surgery and pet endoscopy procedures. Sarah has a gray kitty named Bella that she adopted as a stray kitten 7 years ago. Sarah loves traveling with her husband, being outside on warm sunny days, exercising, crafts, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Since 2013, Sarah and her husband have also been involved in a leadership and personal development business.
Jennifer is a 2006 Indiana University graduate and a 2011 graduate from the International Business College Veterinary Technology program. Jennifer joined the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in 2011 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Jennifer has one dog named Elliott and three cats named Hoolie, Albert, and Toothless. In her spare time, Jennifer loves to read, watch movies and frequents Starbucks. One day she hopes to own pygmy goats.
Katlyn joined the Dupont Veterinary Clinic team in 2015 as a Veterinary Assistant and Client Relations Specialist. Katlyn graduated with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from International Business College in 2015. Katlyn has two pets, a pit bull mix named Oakley and a Siamese mix named Ghost. In her spare time Katlyn enjoys spending time scrapbooking and listening to music
Ashley joined the team at DVC in January of 2017 as a veterinary assistant. Ashley is a 2012 graduate from the International Business College Veterinary Technician Institute with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She has always loved working with animals from a very young age and has a true passion for all kinds of animals – small, large and everywhere in-between. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, riding horses, baking, crafting and spending time with family, friends and her fiancé, Jordan.
Crystal became a DVC team member in November, 2016 working as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Crystal graduated from the International Business College Veterinary Technician Institute in 2008. Crystal and her husband have a 7 year-old tabby named Dink, an 8 year-old Rottweiler named Ace and Riley, a 7 year-old Beagle mix. Crystal enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
Samantha joined the DVC team in January, 2017 as a veterinary assistant and a client care specialist. Sam and her husband have two “fur children”, Apollo, a Cane Corso mix and Auggie, an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix. In her spare time she likes to be outside as much as possible, spend time with her little sister, and occasionally binge watch Netflix with her husband.
Lindsay joined the Dupont team in February 2017 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from International Business College in 2016. She has an adorable Shepherd mix named Sammy. In her free time she coaches softball. She loves watching all kinds of sports and spending time with family.
Rachel joined the Dupont team in July 2017. She graduated from IPFW with a bachelors degree in hospitality and tourism management. Rachel loves to travel to new places and spending time with her family and friends. Most importantly she loves spending time with her fur baby, Bella and her soon to be husband! Rachel loves coming into work and helping to make a difference in our pets and clients lives.
Halle recently joined the Dupont team in July 2017 as a Veterinary assistant. Halle has known since elementary school that she wanted to work with animals because they bring her so much joy. She has a zoo at home she says. She has 3 dogs and 1 cat with her husband and 2 young sons. She enjoys camping and being outside on the water with her family and friends.
Megan started working for Dupont Veterinary Clinic in July 2017 as a Veterinary assistant. Megan is also a recent graduate of Ivy Tech Community College with an associate degree of applied science in visual communications. Although she is new to the veterinary field her love for animals is not. She has a 1-year old ragdoll cat named Diesel. She has been riding horses for 17 years. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and exploring with Diesel. She also enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
